The point is to show off how smart Stephen Wolfram is, which is the point—these days—of just about anything Stephen Wolfram does. His galaxy brain has transcended the mere proving of theorems, and has moved into discovering/inventing entirely new fields of study for all the lesser academics to prove theorems in (as suggested by the title of his magnum opus, A New Kind of Science). You're welcome! When The Big Bang Theory came out, I thought the character of Sheldon Cooper was intended, specifically, to be a parody of Wolfram himself. That's how off the rails he's become due to sheer hubris. |
