This seems like a significant possibility for a rogue AI scenario and not one I'd considered before. Market competition between corporate controlled systems seemed like a self-regulating feedback loop (however imperfect) but this wouldn't have any of those constraints. Maybe I'm naïve but this scenario hadn't occurred to me as a potential risk. |
