but, "dry water" exists in at least two forms that I know of off the top of my head, the first is of course, ice
the second less known form is "dry steam" which is super heated water with no residual droplets of liquid to cause errosion on steam turbine blades, snow could qualify as a third varient.
nature is generous and interesting, but the games people play with contradictions is tedious and horrible
