I couldn't agree more. At this stage of my career, if I were to go back to an early stage startup, I would only consider a startup where the founder(s) had successful experience as at least a frontline manager. That provides a high chance that they will understand what it takes to successfully manage a team and, hopefully, a larger organization. |
