Imagine a kid who wants to eat infinite candy, and a parent who doesn't want his teeth to rot. From the kids point of view, candy is obviously good, and restriction is obviously evil!

It might take the kid many years to understand the parent's perspective. (In some cases such a day may never arrive.)
