I also worked hard labour at the start of my career. They are not really comparable and are exhausting in a different way. Tech makes me mentally exhausted fighting things out of my control. Hard labour made me physically exhausted but I felt more in control of my life. I didn't need to do any performative tasks. Once the day was over, it was over. Just different type of exhaustions. Grass is always greener on the other side I know |
