The viewpoint is because the cameras are intentionally set lower than is reasonable in order to generate revenue, err, catch speeders. There's a contingent of people on one side of the spectrum that wants to ban all cars ever. At the other end of the spectrum is the contingent that wants to go fast. Those two groups will never agree. |
