What a cool project! The homepage for this is really quite slick, and gives me some nostalgia for the Mac OS 9 days (maybe it's just the font choices in places): https://macsurf.org/ While I tend not to use Mac OS 9 much anymore, I do have a Pismo G3 that runs it and still has a 9.x install, so I might give this a go sometime. I'm definitely interested in being able to make old machines useful. NetSurf itself is also very cool. I often run it even on my modern ThinkPad X1 machines when checking the compatibility of my websites, or just for a calmer browsing experience. |
