Nobody is under the delusion that this ban will not be circumvented. The point is to make using these sites so inconvenient that the vast majority of their (potential) users won't bother jumping through the hoops. Imagine your neighbour the alcoholic gambling addict having to learn to use cryptocurrency and VPNs and then having to file taxes in case any substantial winnings (from illegal gambling)... |
