As another commenter has pointed out, there don't seem to be "many", but without links it's impossible for anyone to know what you mean. It's not cool to slur the community like this. HN users are of a highly diverse age range and awareness level of older technologies. It would be much better if you can point to the ones you mean and respond to them constructively.
