AIUI this is unfortunately mostly a negative right now. Companies have invested heavily in LLMs and want ROI. Nobody cares about quality, tribal knowledge or the long term.

You need to come across as the most willing to use AI tooling, use the most tokens and be the quickest person to get something out the door. Act like AI is a bigger event that the first coming of Christ. That you and your AI knowledge could replace 4 developers.

Get a Codex subscription ASAP and learn LLMs and build things with it.

Do you have any network in London? Might be worth trying to build one. Go to some meetups there (not the cheapest place to visit I admit), before the summer holidays. Chat to some recruiters there (just lie and say you're living there)?
