They lacked a suitable delivery system - nuclear gravity bombs ain't so usefull. They worked with Israel to develop a medium-range ballistic missile based on their Jericho designs - there were mockups for the RSA-1 and RSA-2 at the testing facility before everything was dismantled and destroyed. The testing facility is still in use for use by other countries - the IRIS-T and Taurus was tested there. |
