Because the harness was bare bones. It takes a lot of under the surface work to make a really good harness to make a really good agent, independent of the LLM running. The quality of the agent is 50% model quality and 50% harness quality. Gemini CLI is a bare bones harness, whereas Claude Code and Antigravity are "batteries included" harnesses |
