Strange that the article doesn't mention the possibility of "drone hunter" drones. They don't even need to be very complicated, at least the drones could just grapple the enemy drone(s) to bring it down. Otherwise, they could use a net. They sound cheaper than the explosive ones, and there's a skills overlap with drone pilots that the military would want to train and employ anyway. |
