Yeah, I get that 100%. Didn't watch it but I'd feel the same way. Of course, the people in that room are highly selected/filtered, but still, clapping for that feels nauseating. I remember when Matt Taibbi called Goldman Sachs a vampire squid on the face of humanity, and that phrase made the rounds for a while. Feels like it should be repurposed for the AI industry. |
