I’m highly suspicious of this claim, sounds like something some “influencer “ said, passed around on r/incel, and now it’s been projected on all women. Because, once again, it’s not the fault of the ungroomed man with poor social skills.

That sounds like internet bullshit. And worse, if you believe it you'll walk around with this defeatist thinking believing every woman is some stuck up gold digging ass hole. Throw that thinking out. All this macho/tough guy/manosphere talk and thinking is brain damage.

The truth is people want a decent human being to spend time with. They want someone to talk to, someone to be there for them. Be kind, be pleasant, and just be yourself.

I'll also add that on-line dating is a cesspool of fake profiles and all sorts of nonsense that is in no way reflective of reality. It is designed to keep you trapped forever paying more and more money to talk to whatever phony is on the other end - if there even is another end. I also feel on line dating pushed hook-up culture which gives the impression that people don't want relationships. Far, far form reality.

This is nonsense. Some women want that, sure, like some men just want an attractive woman who is skinny with big breasts.

But most people of either sex aren't remotely as shallow as that.
