Tempted to 3D print something based on this. It's pretty neat. And now's the time, too, while the periodic table ends nicely at the last row.

Do it! Make an aperiodic table jigsaw with tiles that are elements and a lot of blanks!
I'm not a woodworker. (By which I mean I don't have any of those tools, not that I'm unwilling to learn. But I would need $1K+ of tools to get started.) I have a different idea I'm going for. The first test print is just finishing up as I type this, if it works it'll be a bit to print everything but hopefully it'll look cool when I'm done. I'm going more for a puzzle intended to hang on the wall.
