- soon, very soon, cars will all be non-owned, meaning you can interact with them with less control than that of riding a taxi ("go this way or that"). It won't matter, basically, what the controls are. You won't have a say. - aestetics have taken over. Physical dials, buttons and switches are always better than computer-translations of intent. Diagnostics CAN be an added computer, but it need not sit in the center of things. Therefore you don't need touch displays. |
