It's not about rolling release vs. stable release. It's about Arch's "KISS" design focusing on simplicity for implementers rather than for users, which results in brittle, under-engineered tools. NixOS unstable, openSUSE Tumbleweed, and Debian Sid are all more stable than Arch. It's a cult of false simplicity (like most cults of simplicity). |
