Of course they can. Cannabidiol is naturally occurring in cannabis, but was patented in ~2018 and approved by the FDA. Doesn't that disprove the conspiracy theory of Big Pharma keeping "natural treatments" from being developed? Natural treatments don't get developed when they aren't effective. |
