There've been some interesting new developments in cell therapies over the last few years. Bemdaneprocel from BlueRock Therapeutics is now into Phase 3 trials for Parkinson's, for example. The essential idea is to implant some dopaminergic neuron precursors to grow new cells in place of cell death.
