This excellent book deals with change. It details the point that "systems cannot change within themselves"

From this book it is clear that the gas car industry is doomed. Car companies cannot support the change to electric.

From this book it is clear that the energy industry is doomed. Energy from hydrocarbons cannot compete with wind and solar.

It is a worthwhile and enlightening read.

Car with motors burning fossil fuels are (probably, hopefully) doomed. But a combustion engine using synthetic-fuels made with CO2 + solar energy can play a role, like a small compact light co-generator parallel at battery pack onboard.

Chemical storage of solar/wind energy can be an option more than battery tech, other than recapturing and storing CO2.

But most car corporates have developed their electric models, or is it something else I've misunderstood?
