Packing 3 weeks of food for a 1 week event? That takes quite a bit more ice and coolers, storage for non-perishables, and it doesn't address other issues like sanitation. It takes a lot to have food in the desert for one week. Perishables don't last long out there.

I'm also not sure you've been to Burning Man if you're suggesting any of this. Just pack 2x more food and water into an RV that is already packed-to-the-hilt? Lol, no.

Self sufficiency is the name of the game, but not for 3x the length of a 1 week event. Nobody is going to do that.

For me, I'm leaving at the first sign of a major storm, before it hits, because no, I'm not packing 3 weeks of food.
