Correct. But I disagree on one point: the publicity does help normalize discussion around UAPs. That’s arguably the main value of these releases. They simply get more people openly talking about the subject, and it moves the subject forward. Whether it also conveniently serves other political purposes is beside the point as far as advancing UAP discourse is concerned. |
