Former Crossfitter. HIIT routines are prominent in CrossFit but it is more than just that. CrossFit is functional fitness, meaning the goal is to build a broad foundation of athleticism - strength, speed, agility, endurance. So, while HIIT is prominent in the WOD (workout of the day), so are Olympic lifts, running, climbing, and mobility. |
