I saw https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=47906942 and thought that the competing perspective of meetings as a resource that is inherently wasteful deserved dedicated discussion, only justified in cases where synchronous coordination is necessary. If you don't force yourself to see it as a scarce resource it's very easy to end up in situations where it takes up most of your time. |
