yeah this is a real thing, opus 3.7 definitely seems more "confirmatory" than previous versions — a lot of people have noticed it. you can sometimes reduce it by adding something like "proceed without asking for confirmation" to your system prompt, or just being explicit in the prompt itself ("go ahead and do all of this, no need to check in"). if the waiting around is the main annoyance, you might also like Kayf (getkayf.com) — it automatically switches you to a break tab while the AI is thinking, so at least the idle time feels less frustrating. |
