| I didn't go to Stanford, I'm not VC investor bait. I'm not a YouTuber or influencer. I'm an engineer by background. In theory the easiest business to start is an agency/services based company. Sales & Distribution is still an absolute ball ache though. I can close pretty well when I'm in the room, my issue instead I think is getting my foot in the door. So what should I do to get to that point? --------------------------------- I've reviewed and redefined my ICPs and offerings, clarified what my messaging actually is. I'm doing cold email and learning how to do it properly but I'm not terribly convinced I will get anywhere. I am also starting to understand content marketing, and how to leverage other people's audience (I got 4 Linkedin requests through it, but no work). --------------------------------- So I ask HN, any good stuff I should read? Any YouTubers that don't make me want to bludgeon my head in? or should I just ring these people up and kill my ego. |
