It's really a matter of scale. Photoshopping something takes time, and unless you're good there are ways to tell. Typing something into an AI is so much faster which means you can do it at scale, and you don't need to be skilled to do it. Also, kind of out of scope for this discussion but deepfake videos are really the most scary. |
