Things like stacks and mega-merges are huge red flags, and seeing enthusiastic people praising how a tool is more convenient to do things that raise huge red flags is perplexing. Let's entertain the idea of mega-merges, and assume a tool fixes all tool-related issues. What's the plan to review the changes? Because what makes mega merges hard is not the conflicts but ensuring the change makes sense. |
