In The Playlist (2022), Spotify co-founder Martin Lorentzon engages in an enthusiastic office push-up competition. In Terminator 2 (1991), Sarah Connor does chin-ups on her bedframe propped up sideways. In Creed III (2023), Damian "Dame" Anderson casually does chin-ups on his staircase while watching TV.

Do any of you train like that? Casual consistency over scheduled routine?

The concept of 'exercise snacking' has become reasonably popular. AIUI, research on effectiveness is limited but there's evidence that it has better compliance rates than other exercise programmes.

I stopped going to the gym years ago, because it took up too much of my time. It's how I train these days. It definitely works for me. I do micro-sessions of high resistance, high contraction variations throughout the day and am in the best shape of my life. Plus it clears my thinking and gives me fresh ideas. So I was just wondering if other people have similar experiences.
