I find it ironic that 'cloud-backed consent tracking' is a thing.

Perhaps I don't understand all the fine points of such, but what a world has been created we have to track your choices about tracking in order to comply with a thing that is supposed to help people avoid tracking.

(at least that's what it sound like to me, surely there is more to all this)
