I used to live in Central Pennsylvania and have a number of Facebook friends from the region. I saw a large number of 'closeted racists' came out of that closet in the 24 hours before and after the election was called - not my conservative friends, so much as their conservative friends. The stereotypical liberal as seen by the stereotypical conservative, however, is a complete fantasy - in line with the fantasy that Romney had a chance of winning the election. |
