Why should the US not get involved in terrorist attacks on a bunch of its allies, including attacks on US citizens?

The sad part is that the media has been caught lying and fabricating so much stuff you can't believe what they say anymore. It's hard to know who to trust. Especially the BBC, which has been caught doctoring video (and just downright lying in articles) quite often.
