Interesting to see this gaining traction. I've been building something similar in a sense. It's called XI-eXtended Intelligence - that takes a different angle on the integrity problem. MemPalace solves retrieval really well. XI is more focused on what happens when memories are wrong or conflict over time- signed journals amandment overlays (amending, not replacing memories that need updated for whatever reason), auditing. Happy to share the project if anyone is interested.

I would love to check it out. I rolled my own with an approach that sounds similar, my repo is here if anyone is interested: https://github.com/shane-farkas/memento-memory
That's great. I bet you could merge some of my ideas into it. This was my second project so it's kinda messy. But I'm sure you could feed it to an AI to disseminate. Feed the MDs. Feed the repository. If you need any info feel free to ask. The idea is well thought out and was working in my system. The AI needs to be tooled to the system and also needs a more refined memory retrieval system such as how a protein finds a part of the DNA and then expands upon that spot, and a scrolling context window. Temporary KV caches for when the AI uses memory retrieval to prevent token muddling. https://github.com/zeoredd/XI
