Yup! Turns out if you want to have a useful clock it needs to use the social/cultural constructs. This was not at all obvious to me before I started with the project, but now, especially after the discussions here and elsewhere, it looks unavoidable. Or to quote one of my favorite books: "Time is an illusion. Lunchtime, doubly so." |
