Currently in Palermo old town. Got fiber and get 200+ mbit over wifi. Even 5g when I go out.

oh, once you have a real fiber I guess problem is solved: the issue is to be in a building where you can have it.

btw: 5G here, too, but speed is slow (wind3).

What does your speedtest with palermo says? I have no doubt it's pretty slow :)

Didn't test 5G, just the wifi over fiber, but didn't perceive any slowness when using it.

let us know: my personal experience (which includes a winter in downtown Palermo 2 yrs ago) is that speeds is pretty poor: it's much better in Addis Abeba, Kampala, Kigali...
