The problem started because Azure was initially designed and released in a huge rush because Microsoft was so far behind AWS and needed something better. I am reminded of the research finding that every human-designed complex system that works well started with a simple system that did did just one thing well, and new functions were added one at a time, with each one perfected before moving on to another. Which is the exact opposite of what happened here. |
