When I try to work on my side projects in the evening, I often feel the same distraction / anxiety effect. The way I handle it is to tell myself it's ok to get some rest and do things that are not productive, and try to keep away from the computer for one or two evenings. Often after that I find I can concentrate better again. We need idle time to structure our thinking process, after all! |
