I do believe the OP's comparison was with AMD, not Apple. Intel has fallen into financial difficulties following product failures and AMD's strong competition, a far cry from Intel's heydays. Apple barely comes into the picture, with less than 10% of the worldwide PC market, and was not a factor in Intel's decline. |
