Yes, I had to place the DDR3 chip diagonally to simplify routing.
Otherwise the length difference on address lanes was so big that I couldn't compensate it with serpentines. I didn't use autorouter: I haven't found any reasonable working KiCad plugin for it, and didn't want to buy and commercial software for a hobby project. (I am the author) |
