I remember how annoying Ray 'Nerd Rapture' Kurzweil was twenty years ago with his "Singularity" stuff, and quietly thankful that he isn't anywhere near as in-my-face today as he was back in the day. As bad as the AI hype wave is now, I can't help but wonder if it could have been even worse. |
