Doesn't surprise me in the least. The EV charging companies (except Tesla) chose pro-active enshittification over "drive up, insert card, start charging" like gas stations. I've never had to download a shitty app to fill my ICE vehicles... The exception is Tesla - even with a non-Tesla vehicle I've never had an issue, even though you do need an app. Tesla vehicles just "drive up, start charging" too - there is no Step 3. |
