In June 2024, for my home gaming PC, instead of platform swapping to AM5, I decided to coast on a 5700X3D while they were on sale for ~$190 and 32 GB DDR4 3200MHZ for ~$50. Added a 9070XT last year for MSRP but don't remember the exact price. While it was the right idea at the time (for me), I wonder if I should have upgraded while the prices were a little more "normal"... No real point here, just complaining to the room. |
