I think thats pretty unlikely. The nuke areas are very far inland. Its impractical from a political point of view to put that many troops that far inland. I think more likely they may seize Kharg island. It has direct strategic value (~95% of oil exports) and is a much simpler target. This is why they bombed it today - shaping operations. |
