They define this: “The influencers presented their claims as exposés of industry deceit, despite offering no verifiable evidence to support them.” So, misinformation = make claim with no supporting, verifiable evidence. Seems like a pretty standard, neutral definition. |

A heck of a lot of things in life are subjective. Even respectable academia can have multiple views on some things, in fact it's bad if they don't.
