I disagree. This is like the invention of the steam machine which may be the most important factor in kickstarting the industrial revolution. I am pretty sure none of the guys who were there, had any clue as to how this was going to change the world, but I suspect at least some, knew that; this is something else. People are bitching now about how AI has ruined coding, not fully grasping that for most people, there will be no code, no applications, no operating systems.
