PerplexityAI has been making the rounds of reddit because they had people sign up for 1 Year free of Perplexity Pro via various ways, including linking their PayPal accounts.
After a bunch of people signed up, they scaled down what you get with Pro to basically what a free version used to be, and now the useful version of Perplexity is called Max.
So you had an agreement for a certain service, and they just rugpull you on it. |
