They had more outages years ago and now it is cronic, and can confirm GitHub is completely unreliable. You should expect an outage almost every week at this point. I'm convinced that their wreckless AI chatbots such as Tay.ai [0] with Copilot have been maintaining Github and have replaced the employees at GitHub.
