Citation needed. I have seen these kinds of assertion all my life without any evidence to back them up. For example, when I moved to the US, I was told, again without any evidence, Chinese students cheat a lot. It's always a couple of faculty who extrapolate their experiences with a few students and then slap racial labels on the entire student body.

Exactly; A voice of sanity at last!

Notice that these sort of "racist rumours" only started in the last few years and not before. AI has simply lowered the threshold for _everybody_ to take-shortcuts/cheat etc. and nothing specific to any one group other than statistical numbers.

lol this has been going on for years, even before the rise of GenAI.
Just where would one get the source for this? It’s not like Universities publish this sort of thing. It’s very much anecdotal, but it’s also very much something that lecturers and tutors have been noticing for so active now.
There are no citations, no hard data, you say anecdotal and yet ask us to believe you?

This is just garden variety racism.
